A. The word “Jurisdiction” is simply a set of some practical power that has been provided to any legal body in order to administer justice when performing any activities within a particular field. Normally, in coalitions like the one of the United States, different areas of jurisdiction can be applied to different local, state as well as the federal levels. According to the textbook “Jurisdiction is a court’s power to hear a case and to issue a decision binding on the parties” (pg-36) (Langvardt, Barnes, Prenkart, McCrory & Perry, 2019).
